Do you think that my doctor would prescribe me some weight loss pills even though i have lost over 2 stone without them? When I started on this diet I asked the doctor about them and he said he would prescribe them to me but he just had to see that my PND tablets were suiting me cos this was about my fourth change of them    he said that they have side effects and so do the weight loss pills and he couldn't give me both as he wouldn't know which ones were giving me the side effects if you know what i mean. sorry if i am confusing you
anyway my PND tablets worked out fab    and I actually spoke to my doctor the other day when Jack was getting his injections and he has agreed to let me start to come off them    I didnt ask him about the weight loss pills though cos I was a bit afraid to    what do you think? You see Im afraid he mite say that Ive lost that amount myself and I can keep going without them

HI, I am guessing that PND is post natal depression? Weight loss pills have a definate BAD effect on moods as well as  internal organs like your liver and heart and in that case I can understand your doc not wanting to prescribe them. Duramine is the most popular one and it is Not good for you. Personal experience here!

You are doing fine anyway. No one says the struggle isn't hard, and it's often one step forward, two steps back. But it took quite a while to put it on and your body does not want you to upset things by losing weight so it will hang on to it as long as possible. But you are definately winning the battle.

Remember you have support here.

i have to agree with TAIHITI ROSE   don't ruin your health  or your  self esteam with the weight loss pills
they are bad news from start to finish ...would you you happy  if you could not go anywhere without being within 2 mins of a toilet ??? the side effects are horrendus  i have seen first hand from a friend  who in the middle of meadow hall could not control her bowl movments  she was so upset and emmbarrised  a million times worse than feeling down about the extra pounds. not to mention the rest of the side effects .......
in weight loss there is no quick fixes  it is hard work as you know but you ar already doing amazingly well  just keep doing what you are doing you will be so proud of yourself when you reach your goal knowing you did it right and that it will stay away .
Belive in yourself you are doing so very well  just keep on doing what you are doing the best way to see faster results is more good old excersise  xx
